The food pantry is located in the former Fire Station in the center of the hamlet of Jamesville, NY.  Enter the pantry from the back parking lot. 

The address is 6486 East Seneca Turnpike, Jamesville, NY 13078.

The pantry serves residents of the Jamesville Dewitt School District.  

The first time you visit the pantry to register please bring your ID 

and current proof of address for everyone in your household. 

Here’s what you can bring for proof of address that you live in the Jamesville Dewitt School District:

• For adults -  utility bill, lease, bank statement, or a piece of mail from a     government office that lists your current home address.

• For children - a document from a school, doctor’s office, or pharmacy that lists    your child’s name and your current home address.

The pantry follows the New York State income eligibility requirements listed here. You are also eligible if you participate in HEAP, SNAP, Medicaid, Free/Reduced Price School Meals, SSI, Unemployment, WIC, or TANF.

Once per calendar month, for each household, we provide food items for 3 meals per day, per person for 5 days. When available, we also provide personal hygiene items and cleaning products. 

• If the pantry is not open and you are in need of assistance with food, please contact the Food Bank of CNY at 315 437-1899 or visit the Food Bank website at https://foodbankcny.org/ and click on Find Food or Get Food.
• For information about food programs in the community call 211 or visit https://www.211cny.com/
• If you are experiencing a food emergency, please call the Jamesville Dewitt Food Pantry at 315 469-5093.
• WEATHER CLOSINGS: In the case of bad weather, the pantry is closed when the Jamesville-Dewitt Schools are closed. 

The Summer Food Basket Giveaway will be held from 10 am to 12 pm (noon) on

Saturday, June 27 at the pantry. 

The bag will include picnic themed food items and pantry staples.

Pick up will be in the front of the building.  We will bring the bag to your car.

Please sign up for the giveaway at the pantry when you come in to shop. 

Deadline to sign up is Thursday, June 18. 

This special giveaway is for those who are registered with our pantry.
